Since 1900, the Messina family has preserved Sicilian culinary traditions. In 1958, Silvestro Messina arrived in Brazil with the family recipes. In 2007, Leonardo Messina, Daniele Resck Messina and José Salles opened Troina Pizza Gourmet in São José dos Campos. Today Troina is recognized for award-winning pizza, live music and a panoramic dining experience.
